Jason’s sports career started when he was 8 years old when he started riding bulls (or calves) in Rodeos around the state of Michigan. Around the age of 10 the Rodeo was traded in for dirt bikes, football, and hockey. After finishing Highschool, at 18 years old, Jason continued sports and began his men’s league hockey career. Jason continues to play men’s league 17 years later while self-employed running a small finish trim carpentry company.

Jason started Just Chirpin’ Podcast to see if he could make a change in his world by attempting to bring people together. He couldn’t think of anyone better to do that with than Stephan and Brent. Hockey is one of his one true passions, not only the game, but also the community. The hockey community in the great city of Grand Rapids is exceptionally awesome and he wanted to highlight this and share it with as many as he could. One of his biggest inspirations is the SPC tournaments. Year after year Jason participates in the SPC tournaments loving every second of it.
