Oshie's (WAS) emotional and well deserved hat trick during the final game of the set; and Connor McDavid's (EDM) 100 point season and how impressive the feat was to accomplish. Just Chirpin' sends out their get well wishes to Tyler Bertuzzi of the Detroit Red Wings. Then the lights go down and the benders come out, as Joe and Zac talk about their beer league hockey experiences, learning the game, the hockey community and the up coming Silver Puck Challenge tournament. Both played repeatedly at FTK Ice Center located at For the Kidz during the winter of 2019/2020. They both would play in their first pond hockey tournament during the 2020 Dekes & Dangles pond hockey tournament season. They would come up short in the C Bracket, but would make a good run for the title. The tournament experience was priceless and introduced them to the great hockey community of west Michigan. 2019/2020 was Joe's first year of playing any form of organized hockey. While Zac has been on the ponds since he was a young boy. He played in his first "beer league" in 2011 with is father. They both will be playing in this year's Silver Puck Challenge at Patterson Ice Center for the first time this spring in the SPC Taxi Squad Bracket.
