Billy played hockey for the Comstock/Northview Wildcats in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduating in 2014 Billy joined the beer league ranks by playing in his first Silver Puck Challenge that June. He was shelled as he took part of a house team that was clearly undermanned. He's continues to return year after as a member of SPC and Barleys. Billy also plays on Barleys during the beer league seasons. He also can be found playing in Kalamazoo dressing up for Murica, M2 and Book Hockey.
Billy won his first AEA title in 2019 at Silver Puck Challenge XV as a member of the SPC group in the VanValkenburg Cup. That same year he would lift the Kegger Cup at Hockey Hold'em V, this time he would do it while skating out. In March 2020, Billy was part of team SPC at the Fenstamacher Cup in Scottsville, Michigan where he; as a tendy scored on a full ice shot.
